How could I have forgotten Stalin! The Soviets spent more time,
treasure and blood fighting the Germans than everybody else put
together. They suffered more than any other country in Europe
excepting perhaps Germany itself. They didnt go after the Japanese
though due to a quiet neutrality pact between them. The British and
Australians performed essential parts against the Japanese but that
was a completely different war. We D-day wasnt until 1944. By then
we had the Japanese well on the retreat as their resources ran out.
